byHere’s some of what I was up to yesterday and today:
My sister and I went to the Contemporary Jewish Museum for the first time. I found out that they don’t have a permanent collection. There were three exhibits set up: Houdini, Black Sabbath (musical intersection of African American and Jewish musical cultures) and Jews in the SF Bay Area.
Since it’s right next door to the museum we also popped into Saint Patrick’s Church, a historic San Francisco church with some lovely green marble interior work. I’ve been here before but my sister hadn’t.
A group of us went to go see Bring it On: The Musical at San Francisco’s Orpheum Theater
With a knit yarnbomb outside my local post office. I didn’t make it but it always brightens my day to see little yarnbombs here and there.
