Various Art at DeYoung Museum, January 2013

Yesterday I mentioned that I’d seen Nick Cave’s embroidered soundsuit at the DeYoung Museum recently. I went there to see the Nureyev exhibit (ballet costumes and photographs) which unfortunately were not allowed to be photographed. We saw most of the museum while we were there,  though, so I did take pictures of a few other things that I thought I’d share today.

  2. What is the name of the artist who did the burnt church installation???
Also in the same show (along with Al Farrow) there was a large black and white painting of a (contemporary) madonna and child with a horde of men straining to see the child?
