foot odor 300x253 Weird Remedies for Foot Odor

I’ve just been doing some research into how to get rid of foot odor. It’s not a bad thing to know – most people are embarassed when they have stinky feet and they want to get rid of that smell. But still, some of the remedies that I’ve found during my research just seem a little bit weird to me.

For example, one big suggestion is to wash your feet in bleach. As a general rule, I don’t think that you should use bleach to wash your body. It’s just too hard on it. Finding a strong soap, washing your feet regularly with it and properly drying your feet makes a lot more sense to me than putting them through a bleach wash.

Another similar example is washing your feet in vinegar. Granted, this one is safer and it probably will get rid of your foot odor but then you’re going to have feet that smell like vinegar which, in my opinion, isn’t really the best smell in the world to be walking around emitting.

There are also tons of options for foot scrubs that seem to have the same problem as the vinegar solution which is that your feet end up smelling like the food. Radishes, for example, are not something I’d want my feet to smell like. Ginger, on the other hand, may be a good home remedy for foot odor since it smells pleasant enough.

Mostly I think that you should take a common sense approach to keeping your feet clean and dry rather than relying on these types of solutions. What do you think?

fibromyalgia muscle pain Natural Cures for Fibromyalgia

I was recently sick with a cold for almost a month. It was just this horrible infection that exacerbated my allergies and caused me to be achy and exhausted for several weeks in a row. I couldn’t get out of bed most days and I certainly couldn’t do yoga or any of the other exercise that I usually do. I finally got better (despite a few days when I thought I may be like that forever) and am now totally appreciative of my health.

As a result of this, I felt a lot of sympathy for people suffering from fibromyalgia when I worked on an article earlier today about how to naturally treat the condition. This is a disease that causes many different symptoms but the most common ones are muscle pain, achiness and feeling exhausted. Having just been sick like that for a short period of time, I can’t imagine feeling that way every day of life.

Luckily, there are some things that can be done to treat the symptoms associated with the condition. And for people who are interested in being kind to their bodies with natural treatments and holistic cures, there are actually a lot of options. Oddly enough, the most effective fibromyalgia treatments are probably the ones most difficult to get started with – like exercise which is really beneficial but not something that you want to do when you’re hurting and tired! The SmartChick (or SmartGuy) with fibromyalgia will figure out a way to get motivated, though, because in the end that’s what works for getting better!
