EEK – I just realized that one of the articles that I wrote was featured in a blog carnival a few weeks ago and I forgot to post a link to it here. Better late than never!

Sometimes I love reading tough non-fiction texts that educate me about a topic that I don’t know a lot about. And then sometimes I like reading memoirs and fiction books that are simple to read and are designed to keep me entertained for a few hours. A book that I enjoyed that fell into that latter “fun” category of reading was Confessions of a Serial Dater by Michelle Cunnah.

I wasn’t familiar with the author before picking up the book. It was one of those books that I happened to see in a bargain bin at Barnes and Noble when I was just browsing to kill some time before I had to be somewhere else. It was affordable and I was in the mood for some light reading so I picked it up. I’ve read reviews from other people that say this book isn’t as good as her other books but since I’m not familiar with her other books I can really only judge this one and I thought it was a fine read.

It’s basically just the story of a woman’s trek through the world of dating. Any women in her twenties or thirties who has gone on multiple dates in an attempt to find true love will be able to relate to at least one or two of the stories related here. For that reason, it’s a fun read. Is it amazing? No, but it’s worth a few bucks and a few hours of your time.

I didn’t feel the need to keep this book after reading it, though, so I posted it for trade on Paperback Swap.
