San Francisco was represented in a couple of different posts in the most recent edition of the Carnival of Cities blog carnival. One of those posts was my post on the city’s creative scene and the other was more of a general travel post about San Francisco. One of our neighbors to the south, San Diego, was also represented with a post about the Balboa Park museums there which I can say from experience are very cool indeed.

There were several other posts related to different spots throughout the United States this time around although those were the only ones from California. The others came from New York (both Queens and Manhattan), Baltimore, Austin and Pensacola.

There weren’t too many non-US posts this time around which is kind of rare and sad to see. The ones that are there are worth checking out though. They’re on Melbourne, Goa and India. It’ll be interesting to see what’s in the carnival next month, won’t it?

We all know that I love San Francisco and that I think it’s the best place in the country to explore. That’s why I write so many travel articles about San Francisco like this one on the top ten San Francisco neighborhoods. But I also love to travel and I know that there are a lot of other great cities throughout the United States and around the world which is why I’m happy to see that the aforementioned San Francisco article was included in the Carnival of Cities alongside posts about all kinds of other neat places to travel.

There were three other U.S. cities included in this blog carnival. There was information on taking kids to Boston, visiting the Adler Planetarium in Chicago and changing housing trends in Tallahassee. There was also one more post from the Americas – a really cool post about cycling through Peru (which is almost as neat as exploring any city with a walking tour).

People interested in travel outside of the United States will be happy to know that there are also several travel posts related to European and Asian cities. Two come from Spain – one on Barcelona and one on the Alicante Festivals. There were also posts on Kuala Lumpur and Jaipur. Cool places with lots to learn about them so the blog carnival is definitely worth a read.
